Project description: a customer is a mechanical engineering company that stands for precision, innovation and reliability. Their oil-free compressors ensure, for example, that carbon dioxide bubbles in drinks bottles, biogas is utilised efficiently and modern energy flows. With over 135 years of experience, the company develop customised solutions that are used worldwide – in all areas where gases need to be compressed.
Now we are looking for Mechanical (CAD) Engineer to join our team.
Your future tasks:
- Take charge of CAD design in plant construction, implementing technical specifications with precision and practicality.
- Analyse required construction parts and select suitable components for each application.
- Maintain master data and articles in our system, ensuring a consistent, up-to-date product structure.
- Participate in product maintenance and further development, seeking cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- Apply your know-how in a targeted way to establish technically sound foundations.
Your profile:
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering, plant construction, or industrial engineering.
- Be ready for business trips to Germany.
- 4+ years of professional experience in plant construction—ideally in mechanical engineering or compressor technology.
- Excellent CAD skills in SolidWorks; experience with PDM systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials.
- Experience designing mechanical components for plant construction and adhering to technical standards.
- Independent, structured working style with deep technical understanding of compressors.
