Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Microsoft Exchange (on-premises, Exchange Online, and hybrid environments).

Design, configure, and maintain Exchange Hybrid setups, DAGs (Database Availability Groups), and mail routing policies.

Manage Microsoft 365 messaging services through the M365 Admin Center and PowerShell.

Lead and support email migration projects, including mailbox moves, PST imports, and hybrid coexistence planning.

Monitor and troubleshoot mail flow, spam filtering, delivery issues, and client access protocols.

Implement and maintain integrations with email security, DLP, and archiving platforms ( Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda).

Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and industry regulations.

Document messaging architecture, configurations, standard operating procedures, and change requests.

Provide tier-3 support and mentoring to junior engineers and service desk teams.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Exchange environments, including Exchange Online and hybrid.

Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and reporting.

Experience with Exchange migrations, DAG configuration, and mail routing design.

In-depth knowledge of M365 Admin Center and messaging compliance features.

Certification:

Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with email security solutions and archiving platforms.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

Understanding of DNS, SMTP, and authentication protocols such as OAuth and SAML.
