Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply and manage patch updates for operating systems and applications across Windows and Linux environments.

  • Use tools such as SCCM and WSUS to deploy patches to endpoints and servers.

  • Conduct thorough patch testing, validate system functionality, and implement rollback strategies in case of issues.

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to align patching activities with vulnerability management priorities.

  • Document patch deployment procedures, test outcomes, and system impact assessments.

  • Maintain compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements by ensuring systems are up to date.

  • Monitor patch deployment success rates and troubleshoot failed updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux patching in enterprise environments.

  • Hands-on knowledge of SCCM, WSUS, or similar patch deployment tools.

  • Understanding of patch testing methodologies and rollback strategies.

  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools like Qualys or similar platforms.

  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft (MCSA/Endpoint Administrator) or Red Hat certifications.

  • Exposure to compliance standards and secure configuration baselines.

  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
